Meet Patrick
I am running for school board to prioritize our children's needs first, to be an advocate for Parents and ensure the sustainable financial health of our School District. For more than 23 years I have served on Governing boards advocating for a better community. I have served on City Councils, the Logan School District Foundation and am presently the Cache Valley Transit District Chair.
It is imperative that board members understand their role as policy makers and that the only tool to make good policy is the budget. I am a finance guy at heart with a Masters degree from Gonzaga University and more than 20 years in the finance industry. I bring a unique skill set to the open position of School Board Member as one who has created policy using budgets for more than 23 years

I pledge to advocate for educational excellence across our schools, ensuring every child has access to the highest standards of learning, from advanced STEM programs to robust arts and humanities curricula
Teachers are crucial to our education system, dedicating themselves tirelessly to our children's growth. It's troubling that these educators often lack resources, forcing them to go beyond their means for teaching materials. I am dedicated to ensuring teachers receive the support they need by properly funding our education system. By prioritizing resources and addressing inefficiencies, we can empower teachers and provide students with the quality education they deserve.
As a member of the School Board, I will uphold the rights of parents to have a say in their children’s education. I will ensure that parental feedback shapes policies and that there are ample opportunities for parent involvement at every level. Parents and guardians should expect responsive communication from their School Board. I will work to establish more effective communication systems to keep you informed and involved in the decision-making processes.
